Each process has its own strengths. Use this guide to understand the finish, the products it suits and what to consider when preparing artwork.
Availability depends on the individual product, colour and production location.

DIRECT TO GARMENT
DTG
Artwork is printed directly onto the garment using water-based inks. The ink settles into the fabric, which gives detailed artwork a smooth, soft feel.
Best for
Cotton-rich T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies
What to know
A strong choice for full-colour designs, gradients and shorter on-demand runs. Results vary with fabric composition and garment colour.
The design is digitised and stitched into the product with coloured thread, creating a premium, textured and durable finish.
Best for
Caps, polos, sweatshirts, jackets and workwear
What to know
Supply artwork as an AI or SVG vector at 1:1 scale, using no more than 15 colours. The maximum artwork area is 4 × 2.4 inches on caps and smaller items, and 4 × 4 inches on adult garments. Avoid gradients, dotwork, semi-transparency, blend modes and feathered effects; designs may need simplifying before digitising.
Printed canvas is pulled evenly around wooden stretcher bars and secured to create a clean, ready-to-hang gallery finish.
Best for
Photography, illustration and branded wall art
What to know
Allow an additional 5.5 cm of artwork on every edge for the image to wrap around the stretcher bars. Keep faces, text, logos and other important details inside the front-facing area, away from the wrap and corners.
Posters are available with two finishes: Gloss for a brighter surface with stronger shine, or Matte for a softer, low-reflection appearance.
Best for
Artwork, photography, campaigns and display graphics
What to know
Both finishes are available framed or unframed. Choose the finish to suit the artwork, lighting and setting; available sizes and frame options vary by production region.
Artwork is UV printed onto a specialist adhesive film, then transferred to the bottle as a clean, sticker-like decoration. It works well on curved hard surfaces without printing directly onto the product.
Best for
TR700 sports water bottles
What to know
Bold, clear artwork works best. Final size and placement depend on the selected print area and the curve of the bottle.
